Refreshing Non Alcoholic Margarita Bliss

This non-alcoholic Margarita is just great! It is made from jalapeno syrup with coriander, lime juice, tonic and without the addition of alcohol.

Lindsay’s notes

This is my favorite non-alcoholic Margarita!

And during this time, when you drink less and less, I realized that a cheerful, refined and really delicious margarita in a glass, which costs more than juice in a glass and does not depend on alcohol, significantly improves life, because personally I have reduced alcohol consumption for several reasons: body health, mental health, small children at home, etc.

Now I actually do it all the time. Several times a week. I have lime juice and simple syrup available, and I can make it at any time.

How it all started: we invited friends to the Super Bowl, and we wanted to treat them to a non-alcoholic Margarita. And I started Googling.

Many of the non-alcoholic margarita recipes I’ve found on the internet mostly use juices and carbonated water, and although I’m sure they taste great, they don’t have bitterness or anything really interesting that makes the mouth taste. with emotions and compensation for lack of alcohol. I really wanted something more fun and special than just lime juice and orange juice with mineral water.

So, where we left off is this.:

Lime juice
simple syrup with jalapeno and coriander: to warm up and flavor fresh herbs,
tonic water – to give bitterness and depth
, tagine – to give texture, salinity and quick heating.

The ingredient

Non-alcoholic cocktail “Margarita:

1.5 ounces lime juice (about 3-4 limes)
2 ounces
tonic with jalapeno syrup and coriander to taste (see notes, especially during pregnancy)
For sugar syrup with jalapeno and coriander:

2 cups of water
2 cups of granulated sugar
1 small bunch of cilantro (leaves and/or stems)
1 jalapeno pepper, sliced

For the tagine filling:

1 teaspoon tagine (affiliate link)
1/2 teaspoon coarse salt
1 teaspoon of sugar

Indication
Prepare the sugar syrup: in a small saucepan, cook the sugar, water, coriander and jalapeno over low heat for about 5 minutes. You want the sugar to dissolve and some of the flavor of coriander and jalapeno to penetrate into the liquid. Strain the cilantro and jalapeno and store the syrup in a glass jar or small jug in the refrigerator for several weeks. I like to have this syrup on hand for quick, fun and easy preparation of drinks!

For the tagine: mix sugar, salt and tagine in a small bowl. Lubricate the glasses with lime juice or sugar syrup and immediately dip the tajine into the tajine mixture so that it sticks to the walls or edge of the glass. Beautiful!
To make a margarita: pour a few ice cubes into a glass. For each layer, I usually add 1.5 ounces of lime juice, 2 ounces of simple syrup and a tonic to taste. You can also use a shaker to stir, or just pour everything into a glass and mix lightly. ENJOY THE MOMENT.
